Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester, an American actress, model, and songwriter, is a multi-talented performer. She is best known for playing 'Blair Waldorf,' in the TV drama series "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester's career began as young girl. As a child she appeared in the local stage production of 'Wizard of Oz,' and her love for acting was heightened. The first roles she had were modeling and appearing in commercials. Through her modeling assignments she worked with big brands, such as "Herbal Essences,"" "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. While she began her modeling career as an actor, she was a model first. Her first job was as model, and later moved into acting. She has written and recorded tracks with famous musicians including 'Cobra Starship', Robin Thicke and others. She has been featured by Billboard as "Top Songs of the Year." Leighton Meester also performed on Broadway in the musical "Of Mice and Men."
