Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher,/bu:'SeI/boo-SHAY,[1] was born on March 17, 1988. She is known as Grimes. There are many styles of her music from the beginning was described as "lo hi R&B" as well as "futuristic dance-pop". In addition, she has incorporated elements from hip hop electronic, rock and hip hop. Her lyrics often touch the themes of science fiction as well as feminist issues. Five studio albums were released by her. She was raised and born in Vancouver (later relocated in Montreal), Grimes began publishing music from the mid-2000s onwards she released two albums: Geidi Primes and Halfaxa from 2010 via Arbutus Records. After that, she signed with 4AD and gained acclaim with the release of her third studio album, Visions, in 2012. Visions includes the singles "Genesis," and "Oblivion". Also, it was awarded the Juno Award of the Canadian Music Industry for Electronic Album of the Years. The fourth album of her studio Art Angels was released in 2015. It was praised highly from the press and critics, while many publications voted it the best album. In the year 2020, she released Miss Anthropocene (her fifth studio album). Grimes as well as an actor and judge in Alter Ego's music contests, played a part as the vocalist as part of Cyberpunk 2077 which was released 2020. Grimes Grimes Grimes
